Within three years of enrolling in the Family Self-Sufficiency Program (now PATHWorks), Kristina C. found full-time employment, established a budget and improved her credit. She accumulated over $3500 in an escrow savings account, which she used to pay off her remaining bills and started a savings plan for her children. And she’s completing studies for her Associates degree.
Kristina’s life was transformed from the time she was granted Housing Works rental assistance as a recently divorced, single mother of one child, expecting her second. With her newfound stability, she released her Section 8 voucher so someone in greater need could benefit.
